Summer Freeze (previously known as Summer Pop at the Mountain Dew Outpost) was a Mountain Dew flavor sampled at the Mountain Dew Outpost from June 4th to June 12th, 2022, at Doe Mountain in Tennessee. It was officially released in the summer of 2023, along with a Zero Sugar variant, which was available for a limited time in the United States. In 2024, it made its limited-time appearance in Canada at Circle K/Couche Tard locations and in Honduras. Summer Freeze then returned in the Summer of 2025 in both the U.S. and Canada by popular demand, and in 2026 in Canada.
